Congrats! When did you apply?

I have your exact same gmat score and breakdown. Did you apply to Kellogg too?

I submitted my application on 10/21. Interviewed on 11/5 and received the decision on 11/6. I requested Booth to provide me a decision soon as I have an admit from Kellogg.

Nice! I was thinking of also requesting for an expedited decision after hearing from Kellogg but decided to ask Kellogg to extend the deadline for my decision instead.

I'm curious why you applied to Kellogg for the winter quarter and Booth to the spring?

Anyone else apply for the evenings winter quarter? I applied 10/4 and just waiting to hear back. Kellogg accepted in less than 2 weeks, anxiously waiting on Booth!

Have you heard back? How was your interview experience?

I have not heard back. They said 4-6 weeks from the date of submission. Today marks 4 weeks.

I felt the interview went really well. They have an interview guide who talks with you prior to the interview, and the main interview which is conducted by a current student. The day after, the interview guide sent a personal email thanking me for coming in and said they looked forward to reviewing my application.

Anxiously awaiting results

I interviewed on the 9th. didn't hear anything back either. Let me know when you hear back. Good luck!!

Actually, I lied... I submitted my app on 10/9 and interviewed on 10/22. Really hope to get in because I think Booth is the perfect fit for me and I LOVE Chicago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's truly disappointing that you didn't get in, but I am sure you will enjoy Kellogg as much as you would have enjoyed Booth. I wish you the best and keep us posted once you make the final call! Good luck with your future endeavors.

I got into both Kellogg and Booth but ended up choosing Kellogg. It all depends what you want out of the program. Don't just look at the #1 vs #6 ranking. Unless you're targetting something in finance, both will take you where you want to go.

They don't publish acceptance rate for PT programs. Given your GMAT/GPA, I don't see how you wouldn't get in unless you lack significant WE.

Re: Calling Booth Evening/Weekend MBA Aspirants (2019 Intake)Class of 2022 [#permalink]
I have a question about the application section under "Motivation and Goals". There are two questions:

What is your short-term career goal? (250 word max)
What is your long-term post-MBA goal? (250 word max)

These are non-essay questions, and are short answer questions. I am wondering whether most people get close to the 250 word max, or put a simple answer of a few sentences. I feel like I could succinctly answer these in 2-3 sentences each and be < 100 words, but I could also put a lot more background to get closer to the max if they are looking for a more detailed response. I was surprised they give you this much room, because that's pretty close to the essay lengths (300 and 400 words).

Any thoughts on these questions and the level of detail in response?

Not sure about others but my plan is to keep it between 150 to 175 words in my application.
