Thanks! In my view for most people NUS and NTU are going to be very similar.
I feel the NUS campus is a bit more modern, while the NTU campus has a more historic and eco friendly feel. Both are top rated schools and I believe that most MBA candidates at the schools will be able to secure entry into the industry of their choice.
That being said, I ended up picking NTU specifically for my own career aspirations. I have been in FX sales and trading for the past 8 years and wanted to make the move into commodities, specifically the physical markets. Singapore being one of the main global hubs, and the hub for Asia, I had to decide between these two schools. Since I already have an Energy Risk Professional designation and will be completing the CFA before I start the MBA program, it made sense to look at the best alumni and networking school for this industry. NTU beat out NUS for this largely because they have a collaboration with majority of the physical firms. Additionally, the CEO of Trafigura (my main target company), who is big on mentorship, is on the board of trustees for NTU and an NTU grad.
Even with these considerations, the choice between the schools was very tough! Like I said, they are very similar in statistics and placements. Hope this helps!

Hey
ShubratCongratulations on the admit!
Can you please share your views on both the schools, NUS and NTU ?
Also, if you can help us with reasons that helped you decide NTU over NUS.

Received admission offer last week on the 12th from both NTU and NUS. Accepted the NTU offer today. Seems like NTU has a very tight acceptance window, I only had a week to accept, while NUS gave me until mid January. Not sure what the class will look like in 2019, but very excited about the program!
