My 2cents
The only thing that MBA Consultants do is that they provide structure to your essays/applications.
You will still have to brainstorm yourself(probably the consultant will help in giving direction). You will still have to write stories.
If you have ample time and are connected to a good number of alumnus from a particular school, then I dont think that you will needing any help from consultant.
Consultants reduce our efforts since they already possess the experience of working with so many candidates.
That being said, I honestly feel that NTU essays are pretty straight forward and the deadlines are too far. You should probably try to write on your own. It will help you develop your writing skills and help you thing structurally, all this might be of great help when you are in a Bschool/Coroprate and writing a report.

Spiderguy252 Yes, people have started receiving interview invites.
I am not aware of any particular order in which the invites are being rolled out.
All the Best

Argh...I worked so hard on my app so will be disappointed if the interview train has missed me.
And I hear they don't even send out a dinged email at this point.
Did you take any consultant's help for your application?
Is professional guidance required?
