Hi,
I am considering applying at Maryland for my MBA. Any idea what areas is the school strong in?

My aim is to move into Operations Consulting and considering the school geography, I am not sure if it would be the right fit?

Would be glad to hear from others on this.

I don't know why this thread is soooo silent this year. R1 and R2 app deadlines already passed but no one posted anything about their app progress. :-)

Although I see quite a good movement on Smith's decision tracker...

Hey not really. I got invites from other schools so perhaps once I am done interviewing there I'll apply at Maryland.

Hey guys! I had submitted my application in late October and had an interview on the 20th November. A couple of days ago, the adcom reached out to me for a followup round of interview and I just finished that today. How common is this, undergoing multiple rounds of interviews? Has anybody else heard/experienced this?

Hi all,

Submitted my application on 14th Dec for R3. The current status of my application is showing as "In Admissions Committee". When should I expect to hear from the school? Or when does the school normally reply back with a result of the initial review of application?

Any help would be really appreciated.

From the previous years' decision tracker, I see the earliest an applicant got an admit from Round 3 was in the 3rd week of January. Not sure if that gives you an approximate timeline but I guess you can expect an update by the end of January or in the first week of Feb in the worst case.

Didn't they mention something on their website about when they will release their decisions?

Hi Purvee8001

I heard back very quickly. I think it was within 1-2 weeks. I was accepted so I can't speak to how they notify people receiving rejections.

I only did one round of interviews.
