Good luck to all! Looks like R1 apps are due in another 4-5 weeks. Who else is applying to Mason this year?

W & M, Mason School - Essays should not exceed the length indicated. At the top of each page, please put your full name and a complete statement of the question being answered. Use at least 11-point font and 1.5 spacing.
1) Why is earning an MBA the next logical step towards achieving your short-term and long-term professional goals? Why is the William & Mary MBA the right program for you? (Approximately 800 words or less.)
2) Essay #2 (Optional)
The William & Mary School of Business culture is one of collaboration, leadership engagement, and service; how do you see yourself contributing to our unique learning community beyond the classroom?
3) (optional)Is there any additional information that you would like to share with the admissions committee which would be helpful in reviewing your application? (i.e. supplemental coursework relevant to MBA study, job promotion, leadership position, global travel or community service initiative.)

what is the right set of essay questions for application this year? the 1st set or the 2nd set?

Both are right. If you would see once more, you would find that 2nd and 3rd questions are optional. I just added to previously existing information. There are 3 essays in total, out of which 1st is compulsory.

I have just submitted my application today. Has anyone been up to their interview?

By the way, the optional essay is a tough one. Took me 2 weeks for brainstorming. My suggestion is you should get to know about the school first via readings on their website. That was how I got some ideas for this essay.

I had a family issue and did not have time to prepare my essays up til now

I received an interview invitation from Mason more than 1 week ago. They set it up on 15/11. Now I am reading old threads to gain some experience for this interview. Maybe you can try to write something in the early morning. It works for me.

Sorry for my late reply. A bit busy with tasks at work. Amanda was my interviewer. The interview was very comfortable with conventional questions like: talk about your education, current work. I suggest you should know your resume well. We also talk about Vietnamese culture since Amanda has been to my country twice. Just that. Very easy. You shoud prepare well and then enjoy it good luck every one. Btw, Amanda said the result would be sent out before X-mas.
