For One year FT MBA program

B.Tech. (65%) & M. Tech. (8.7/10) - from top 3 NIT of India
GATE qualified, Availed fellowship/ full scholarship in M. Tech.
Work Exp. 13 years Consulting exp. in Steel Sector as process expert (A Govt. of India company) - 4 promotions (Considered good in public sector organisation). Vast exposure to steel industries in India. No International Exposure but quite often interaction with experts of various nationalities in the form of discussion with technology suppliers or with prospective clients.
Working as Project lead/ Coordinator to lead a team ranging from 10 - 25 multi-discipline experts depending upon project. - 7 years in lead role
Member of professional bodies:
Life Member of Institution of Engineers (India), Life Member of Indian Institute of Metals, Member of AIST, USA
Represented India in roundtable conference of BRIC countries in Brasil.
10 publications in various International and National conferences and Seminars

In last one year, activities increased many fold and this year I have secured Management's approval for increase in remuneration, first in last 5 years, to faculties due to increased turnover of about 30%. More than income, the mood and spirit of school has gone up and school is going to organise a National event this year, first ever attempt by school.
Have been elected member of Executive Association Committee, A executive employees representative body, for two years. Have worked in various administrative and confidential committees within organisation.
Entrepreneurship:
Have Identified a solid disruptive and new business model for certain services in steel sector, based on my experience, and now looking forward for networking, possibility of nurturing the business idea, also possibility of getting partners in venture, some funding, and developing required soft skills for launching and running the venture in global locations in addition to India.
Post MBA : Counsulting job for short term goal and setting up my venture for long term

Secondary education : 9.4 gpa
Senior Secondary : 81.9%
Graduation :
Bachelors of Architecture
(5 years course including 6 months internship)
College : NIT
CGPA : 7.67
GMAT : 710 (Q49, V 36)
Work Experience : 25 months at Larsen and Toubro
(as on august 2019)
Role : Senior architect
Have taken up more responsibility than is usually awarded at my cadre. Have handled one project in last year and am handling another project on my own as of now.(project values upwards of 100 crores)
Co Curriculars :
1. Regularly volunteer for ngo camps ( elderdly health camps etc)
2. Was part of organizing committees of college fests, department functions, functions in school
3. Was involved in dramatics and debating in school
Why mba ?
I know the technical aspects of a building, from the floor plans to the ventilation system, from the effect it can have on a person to the how livable and sustenable it can be .
I want to able to look at the same built environment from a business/financial/economic point of view also, to be able to have a more cohesive bigger picture.
