Let boys that dance : x
Let boys that didnt dance : y
Let girls that dance : p
Let girls that didnt dance : q

Given: x + y + p +q =100

Stmt 1: q =25 Not Sufficient

Stmt 2: x =2y
==> 3y +p +q =100 Not Sufficient

Lets combine both statements:
3y +p + 25 =100
3y +p = 75
Not Sufficient

Statement1- clearly not sufficient.
Statement 2- given info can conclude in below eq
Girl (P + NP) + Boys (P + NP )= 100

Girl (P + NP) + 3x= 100
Not sufficient

With statement 1+2
We get below

Girls played + 3x =75
Still not sufficient.

Let
No. of Boys dance = x,
No. of Boys not dance= y,
No. of girls dance= p,
No. of girls not dance= q,
x+y+p+q = 100
Req: p?

(1) 25 girls don’t like to dance and so they didn’t.
q=25 , but x & y not know
So Not sufficient.

(2) The number of boys that danced is twice the number that didn’t dance.
x=2y,
so, 3y+p+q=100
Not Sufficient

Together, 3y+p=75
Not Sufficient.

Out of the 100 kids that went to the party, how many girls danced there?

(1) 25 girls don’t like to dance and so they didn’t.
(2) The number of boys that danced is twice the number that didn’t dance.

1) we dont know total girls who went to party
insufficient

2) boys danced = 2 boys not danced
no info about girls
insufficient

1+2) still no idea on number of girls or boys who went to party
insufficient

Out of the 100 kids that went to the party, how many girls danced there?

(1) 25 girls don’t like to dance and so they didn’t.
Okay, so 25 girls didn't dance. 75 kids are remaining, but not info on who danced and who didn't.
INSUFFICIENT.

(2) The number of boys that danced is twice the number that didn’t dance.
Okay, This will tell a ratio of who danced in boys and who didn't, but not talking about girls
INSUFFICIENT.

Even combining both statements will not give us the distribution of boys and girls.
INSUFFICIENT
