Re: My experience with the online Gmat [#permalink]
I decided to schedule the GMAT exam in an actual test center since there was miraculously an open spot. I'm taking in tomorrow so fingers crossed I do well! Two hours after I scheduled the test center exam, I actually got an email with a coupon voucher to retake the online GMAT before June 17th. If I don't get the score I want, then I will definitely take the online GMAT because we can use physical whiteboards now. However, if I chose not to take the online GMAT, I most likely won't get a refund, which means the voucher will go to waste. The customer service sucks, it took me two hours to get ahold of them and they didn't give me a definitive answer as to whether I can get a refund or not if I chose not to sit through the online GMAT again. Hopefully, if things go well tomorrow, I will find a way to get back my money because it is unfair for me to pay for an exam that I don't need to take (especially if I took it at a physical test center)
Another side note - if anyone is in my situation, you are actually allowed to sit through the online GMAT exam a couple of days after you take the GMAT in the test center and vice versa. I appreciate this because its flexible, so thankfully at least this option exists.
