My experience with the online Gmat

I am one of the people who decided to apply to an MBA program last minute (as always). I prepped for about 2 months and scored between 650-710 on the practice exams. Going into the real thing, I thought that the test-taking experience would be efficient and relaxing but I WAS PROVED WRONG. Not only was I super nervous but at the same time, my test-taking experience was extremely stressful because of the technical errors. Basically what happened to me was that my whiteboard kept acting up. It was fine during the quant section, but when I moved to the verbal section it wouldn't let me type my notes. It also deleted everything that I was typing. My test had to be restarted two times, and that didn't seem to resolve the problem. Also, important note - for example if you chat with the proctors about the issues during the exam, your timer DOESN'T get paused. I was 30 minutes into the exam and only on the 10th verbal question. Eventually, the proctors asked me whether I wanted to continue and deal with the whiteboard acting up, or whether they should shut down the exam due to technical issues. I chose the latter option since it would be impossible to answer any sort of RC or CR questions with no notes. The proctor was at least nice enough to call me after the exam and give me a case number so that I could contact customer service. I contacted them, but my case is still expected to be resolved within 3-5 days. I hope the same experience doesn't happen to anyone because it's really risky, especially if you are on a tight schedule. Thankfully the program I am applying to extended their deadline by two weeks, so I hope my case gets resolved within the next couple of days so that I can take it again.
Has this happened to anyone who did the online Gmat? If so, what was their resolution?
