I could be wrong but I think it may be too early for invites.

I expect the first few invites to rollout this weekend or maybe early next week (just speculating based on the 1st Oct interview start date).

Thanks.

Hey!

Has anyone with a GRE score applied for score submission extension so as to improve the score?

Thanks!

Need some feedback here:

My recommendation is going to write 200-250 words max for each question while ISB word limit is 500. Does this put me at any disadvantage or ISB doesn't care about length of recommendation as much as the content?

The common LOR format by GMAC states 500 word.. so you might as well request your recommender to increase word count a bit if you plan to apply to other schools as well.
Most importantly, the extra words should have relevant content that describes your work/behaviours/conduct etc etc.

The 500 word limit is a fairly generic limit and not all questions can have such long answers.

As long as the LOR has great examples that back the qualities that you've highlighted in your application and essays, you should be good.

Thanks.

kloppismydad, if your LoRs cover important and distinct features of your personality, you shouldn't be at a disadvantage.

Yes. I know a few who have done that. Is there anything you specifically want to know?

Cheers for the responses, guys! Going with the recommendation with 250-300 words because I don't want to push the guy to write more (he's a partner in the firm so incredibly busy).

The 500 word limit with 4 questions is crazy though! Other programs have 1-2 questions with 200-300 word limits.

That's absolutely fine kloppismydad. Admissions committee would not appraise you based on the length of the recommendation:).

They have just given the recommenders the luxury of 500 words, just in case there is some question that the recommender wants to respond to, in detail (aka pour his/heart out) :) .

Hi All.

I know there is already an ISB applicants group for 2021 prospects.

But I was looking to apply to Round 2. I thought there might be others.

Feel free to discuss anything related to ISB round 2 here.

Cheers!

Does anyone know whether the Class of 2021 has started the classes on campus or is it still online?

Also, any updates on the DHM duration for the Class of 2022? I am aware that it was 10 weeks for the current class.

Would the next batch also start the on-campus classes around Sept or could it be earlier?

Thanks.

Classes are still online. I think the term ends in the coming week and people will starting arriving on campus in batches starting 5th October and this will continue into November.

As per one of the ISB session, for batch of 2022, DHM will be there. But duration will be shorter.

In my opinion, there will be dhm of max 2 weeks or none at all.
