Hi Paul,

Thanks for the swift reply. Yes I meant "by saying extending" asking for more schol. I certainly wont leverage Tippie , yet wanted to know how to go about it ?
Again ,I wanted your opinion on the accelerated MBA.Being a career changer I really want to take up internship to set myself up post MBA, but it looks a bit dicey given what they have stated with regards to internship.

Also, is location a BIG factor here > Rochester vs Iowa ?

Please comment.

Thanks
Hansy

Hansy,

I think I already answered your questions regarding how to go about the scholarship increase. If you want more help in crafting a letter or email to them we would have to do it on a consultant-client basis. I also think I answered your question regarding location -- it comes down to preferences, which vary by individual. Look at the companies that recruit most at these schools and look at what percentage of MBAs they place in the field you're interested in. Ask yourself where you want to live.

The 2-year MBA does offer the benefit of the internship, among other advantages. You have to weight the importance of that against the opportunity cost and career interruption advantages of the accelerated MBA. I don't think employers make much distinction between the two kinds of degrees.
