Are you waiting on any other school decisions?

Congratulations to those that have received admission decisions. I assumed all decisions will be out in April save early decisions

Does this mean that anyone who didn't receive the admissions email on Tuesday will get rejected?

I spoke with the regional manager. She said most of the offers will go out on decision date

For some people, early decisions come in because they specifically requested for it. It was explained very well by srr24 earlier in the chat.

Hello. Does anyone know if my recommender has to submit by the deadline or does LBS offer grace period for recommenders? If yes, how long is the grace period?

Hi, It has to be within the deadline.

I was told by adcoms at other programs anecdotally that your recommender could submit up until the end of the week of the deadline.

I have also had a recommender who submitted their recommendation within a week a deadline after the admissions team reached out to alert me of outstanding documents in my application. This recommender knew of the deadline though and the invite link was caught in his junk inbox.

You are likely to receive outreach from the team once your application is submitted noting your application is not going to be considered until that rec is in. I certainly don’t recommend testing this- and you should give ample time to a recommender (3+ weeks) ahead of the deadline.

In round 2, my recommended was given a 7 day grace period after the application deadline

Question for R1 admits: did any of you receive admits on decision day itself? Or did you all hear before decision day?

Regional Manager told me that a bulk of the admissions offers go out on decision day itself and that only a few go out before that. Just trying to validate that.
