Hello folks, I am usually a silent lurker, but wanted to hear your thoughts on how I can shape myself up to apply at LBS in a couple of years. I am graduating out of my undergrad in 2023
From SRCC - have a GPA of 9.5, am going to complete my CFA/FRM by 2024, and have about 18 months of experience at front end VCs/PE. I am about to join a Macquarie owned renewable energy developer as a project finance analyst. I aim to work in the climate finance space in the future
What steps would you recommend for me to best prepare myself for an admit to the class of ’26 - I would be having 3 years of work experience and hopefully, a competitive GMAT score. I already have some peer reviewed papers in financial markets (about 6) and have some volunteering experience under my belt.
What would be good to know is how I can best utilize the next 2 years. Many thanks!
Target industries would be VCs/PEs
