Hello,
First to answer your concern -  " I have a career gap of 5 months as my parents were unwell and I had to leave my job to look after them both. Wanted to understand how this will impact my profile. "

Technically, this has no direct impact on your profile. It happens and it is important to take care of your family. There are many aspects allied to this however, like - Are you still on a break? Are you rejoining work? How have you utilised your time? If you have a reasonable discussion around these aspects, it's fine.

For the rest your grades are good, GRE score is also good ( the average at PGPX has been 323). With 4.5 years of experience in digital and mainline marketing at prestigious firms like Ogilvy and FCB, your professional profile is robust. Your experience as an Account Manager, leading campaigns, and managing a team aligns well too.

The career gap is not a deterrent if well explained. Hope this helps.

All the best!

Hi,

We do have many with 10+ Years of work ex in the cohort from R1 and R2.
I have 11 years of work ex in R&D automobile.
While we have people from PSU and private sectors with more than 10+ years work ex.

Specifically from R3 are quite few but mostly veteran background.

I believe waitlist will move only post 20th, that’s the date of second commitment fee

If anyone converted A and has offer(s) from other B-schools, please send the withdrawal mails timely so that waitlisted people get the offers on a timely basis.

I think the Waitlist movement will start after the decleration of ISB results and after 20th Feb i.e 2nd Commitment Fees, we may see a big jump
