Would anyone be interested in swapping essays for peer critique?
Since the essays will be read by adcom members who have no knowledge of our personality/experience/education outside of what's on our application, i thought it would be helpful to have the essays read by another applicant (would be a different angle to review vs. getting feedback from people already know us so well like friends and family). Please PM me and let me know!

Does anyone know how Columbia's 'Innovative Programs' work. For example, can anyone participate in the Program for Social Intelligence?

No if you do not wish to be considered for fellowships.

Hi I'm very confused about the columbia app with regards to the employment history. Do I upload a document or something with every job I've ever had? I filled out one of the employment history segments with my current job and saved it and when I returned to the app, it wasn't filled with all my information so naturally i'm hesitant to fill out every job for the past 10 years only to find it not there upon my return. Is there an official document we're supposed to download to fill in or something? Am I missing something? Please someone help!

I haven't interviewed w/ Columbia, but from what I've seen so far I think it depends on how long it takes your recommender to submit interview feedback.

I know you don't want to hear this, but following what happened earlier in ED round, some people go responses within 3 days while others got decision after 5 weeks. Several got rejected in 1 or 2 days after the interviewer returns feedback. You'll recieve a message once your interview submits feedback then it's the waiting game again. Seems your interviewer has up to 7 days to return feedback.

EDIT: I think the response has to do with how strong of a candidate you were in the first place, that is based on seeing the people who got deferred to RD, their decisions seemed to take the longest. If you're a really strong or week candidate, the responses should be quick.
