Congrats ninkorn!

EDIT: Just saw your profile, and I'd encourage you to give atleast one of H/S a shot in R2 (assuming they are a good fit) given your interest in GM/Strategy.

So, I was in class in the middle of a lecture to my students and received a call from Unknown on my iPhone. I told the kids to hold on for a second while I answered my cell (normally a no-no while teaching). Unfortunatly, the building that I teach in has terrible reception and what I heard was garbled beyond recognition, though it didn't sound like it was in English (it sounded like Chinese). Ahhhhhhhhhhh... did I just get an acceptance from Kellogg or was it a wrong number from China? I imagine that if it was Kellogg they would call back. This is frustrating.

Yikes Lev! Hopefully they'll call back? Otherwise, i'm sure your online status will be updated soon so you could check that?

Yeah, and I would think that Kellogg would leave a voicemail in any case.

Probably. Its been an hour, so I'm starting to think it was a wrong number from Asia. This suspense is killing me.

Do you get calls from Asia often?

No. I have never received a call from Asia. I once received a call from someone speaking Spanish, but I believe that that is the only time that I have ever received a wrong number call on my cell. That's part of why I'm wondering if it might have been in English and just really garbled. No status update on the Northwestern website, but I guess that that wouldn't happen until tomorrow anyway.

Maybe I am being dense here, but is it a safe assumption that if you are not called on a Monday or a Thursday, that the website update on those days could just be bad news? If the "majority" (ie dings) of decisions are updated on Tues and Friday, does this mean that good news usually comes on those off days only?

I think Good News will come out everyday, and bad news on Tues/Friday. I honestly have no idea though.

Totally random - they give out dings and admits everyday of the week.
