Maybe I am being dense here, but is it a safe assumption that if you are not called on a Monday or a Thursday, that the website update on those days could just be bad news? If the "majority" (ie dings) of decisions are updated on Tues and Friday, does this mean that good news usually comes on those off days only?

Totally random - they give out dings and admits everyday of the week.

i kind of have the feeling that the first batch of dings will come out tomorrow
if i don't get a call today, my chances are doomed....

I think you are being a tad pessimistic !

Isn't it still really early? I mean really they just started on Thursday, and we still have about 2 weeks - maybe I am being optimistic but I am still hoping for the best here.

We have a lot more than two weeks... A month from yesterday is the final decision date. I imagine they will release results right up until the date.

Yes, I did get an email about the official transcript (but not the status change online) and I quickly clarified with them. Their response is that the 'unofficial transcript' is fine, but if admitted "the transcript will be required at a later time"... Am I reading too much into the email? This wait is killing me...

I'm in a sense of fog, I just got the call as well. I didn't believe it until the log in information for the website worked. Congrats guys! Hope the calls keep coming in!

Guys, dont stress about dates people interviewed or submitted, those play no real role in when you hear back. I submitted hours before the deadline last year and interviewed the same month I got in. Familyman put his dates (look back a few pages) and it supports what I am telling you.

Congrats on the admit, thats 2 so far...40 more people to hear.

The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.

Does anyone know if you can get accepted this early without a call or do they call everyone? (Instead of just email/website)

A little late to this forum, but can you add me to the round 1 "unknown" (but hope to not be there too long) list.

Thanks and best of luck to everyone!
