Re: New GMAT Books Coming our way.... [#permalink]
Thanks a lot for this list BB. These are really new books......I have never heard of many of them.

However , after reading so many books , I am not at all interested in books anymore.
Many (McGraw Hill , Kaplan800 , Kaplan Premier) have OG problems / questions. and have a very few new , GMAT representative material.

If one has OG10 and OG11 and maybe OG12 , he can / should straight away look for CR / SC / RC specific expert books (Powerscore / Manhattan depending on the problem area).

and then should invest in TESTS (Gmat Club / Manhattan /...)

Thanks. That's because these are books that have not been published yet - some will not be published for another year

This list is intended for those who are on the market to buy them. For example, Kaplan has released an updated version of their Kaplan Premiere book a week ago. That could be helpful. GMAC is releasing new versions of Math OG and Verbal OG in mid August.

I cannot seem to find a reasonably priced copy of "Kaplan GMAT 2009 Premier /w CD"

Is my only choice going forward the "Kaplan GMAT 2010 Premier Live"?

Yes, unfortunately :(

Same book, but requires you to use tests online (only 6 months access) and not transferable.

Is the CD for Kaplan GMAT 2009 Premier CD only good for the tests, or is it recommended for other study materials?

I have not used the 2009 version per se, but previous versions had some other exercises (some of which were in the book too) and useless videos. The main value of the CD were the tests.
