Thanks Jennifer,

Yes, i do intend to retake the GMT after my Level 2 examinations in June. However, I worry about one fact: the GMAT is a tricky exam and it all waters down to the D-Day. While I know my Verbal scores could have been a lot better, i fear that if for any reason, my score is the same or worse, lower, my application may be received poorly by schools as they will have access to the entire GMAT history. Is this fear justified? Do schools really consider only the highest score?

Irrespective of my re-take, may i request you to advise me if you think this score is good for NUS and Nanyang alone?

Thanks again

Regards
Ramnath

Hi, Ramnath. Yes, I do feel the 670 is safely within the range of acceptable scores for Nanyang and NUS. For other programs, yes, they really do only care about the highest score. If there is a huge drop in score subsequently, they would raise their eyebrows, but that can generally be explained in an optional essay by illness on the day of the test.
