I like to give out honest feedback, please don't be discouraged. Getting a 2nd MBA is not an easy sell to the adcom, but a good chunk of IIM graduates from India do it successfully every year, but its a hard sell nonetheless .Please bear in mind that you'll need almost stellar essays to resonate your case. In short, you need to prepare an awesome pitch (as we say in I-banking lingo). Your work experience is a big plus adcoms like to see a steady streak leading to promotions and leadership positions. Ok now for the not so good part :
Top schools usually get applicants from other top schools all over the world. If its IBA, LUMS or any top engineering school in Pakistan chances are that adcoms have seen and admitted other applicants from your school, if your school is rather unknown it becomes slightly more challenging, but not a showstopper by any means. Unfortunately, your GPA is on the lower side as well, anything below a 3.0 anywhere may require an optional essay. Additionally, you can take a couple of evening classes and show good progress to reduce the impact of your prior academic performance, this may even help establish your desire to further your education and pursue an MBA. Above all, it goes without saying that you need to do well on the GMAT (680+) to have shot at your target schools. If you haven't done any extracurriculars its not too late to start, better late than never as they say. You have a long list of schools you may need to shorten it a bit, if you want to get into investment banking you may need to look at the top feeder schools. IMD and Darden are not very happy hunting grounds for I-banking/PE recruiters. Whereas Wharton, NYU, Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, Dartmouth and even Yale top the list in the US (for I-banking/PE). In the UK LBS, Judge and Oxford, in France HEC, INSEAD do equally well. In Asia (yeah this where all the damn growth is expected) NUS, INSEAD, CIEBS and HKUST do well in I-banking recruiting. Then there is the lone warrior, U of T Rotman school in Canada which consistently does well in Finance recruiting in general .
Good luck with your MBA journey, have fun and let me know if you have any questions.
