Extra-curriculars/community: active member of local volunteer organization, site captain for annual event that has over 8000 volunteers, participated at 2009 JPM Corporate Challenge, served in financial helpline to help people who are facing difficult times, helped to prepare material for non for profit organization sponsored by my company.
Work experience(WE):
Licensed CPA, passed all 4 parts on the first try
8 months of accounting at a Fortune 500 government consulting company
1 year of real estate asset management at a local construction giant managing shopping malls, commercial buildings, and investment funds.
3 years of accounting experience at top private equity firm involving various tax and GAAP work, pre and post IPO reorganization, got promoted to senior last year and currently managing 2 staffs.
Goal:
Be able to change my career from accounting to finance. Become an analyst at large private equity firm involving buyout deals
