My stats:

GMAT - 680(Q49, V32, 4.5)(2nd attempt). Graduated from a non IIT in India with 7/10 GPA.
Work Experience - 5 years, which includes 3 years of international experience at customer location(USA).
My work involves interaction with many cross functional and cross cultural teams. Proactively involved in creating revenue for the company though Not many promotions. Leading a team.
Extra Curricular/Community: Passionate about my own community. Raised Funds for associates in the Organization. Teaching in a community school in USA. Arrange different events(sports and get together) in community. Interested in learning different language/culture(Learning spanish now !!)
Goal After MBA - Management Consulting and Community/Non Profit.
I had applied to 3 schools (Duke, Darden and Berkeley) last year. Got dinged from all the 3 schools.
Feedback from one of the school - Low academic score.(Also, I feel I don't have a great writing skill)
I believe I can increase my GMAT score by 30 to 40 more points. But I haven't started preparation because of the work pressure.
I am targetting for top 20 in USA, LBS, INSEAD and ISB in 2009.
Please provide a critical review of my profile? How realistic is it to get into any of the above schools? Will hiring a consultant increase my chance?
Thanks in advance !
