Finalist for Oustanding Senior Thesis Award in History Department

Law School: 2.96 GPA (3.7 final year)
Finalist in School Moot Court Competition and named Outstanding Argument in 4 of 6 rounds of competition
Semi-finalist in school trial team competition
Member of National Trial Team and competitor in National Trial Competition in Providence, RI
Excelled in Business/analytical classes (Corporations, Comaprative Corporate Governance, Federal Income Tax)

Work Experience:
Worked for 1 year between undergrad and law school for member of congress
Handled issues related to financial services, medicare, medicaid, social security, small business and many more

Will have roughly 2 years working as a civil litigator with a large case load at matriculation
Clients include many of the largest insurance companies in US

Along with siblings, organized fundraiser for Beijing orphanage that my parents were involved with
Acted as trial team coach for grade school trial competition during law school
Assitant teacher at local pre-school during breaks and vacations in law school

International Experience:
Have lived in Hong Kong, Bangalore, and Singapore for a total of approx. 6 years
Have spent time in Tokyo and Beijing (personal visits)

The schools to which I am applying are Booth, Kellogg, Darden, McCombs, and Notre Dame. I am hoping to get my MBA to facilitate a career change to management/strategy consulting. I appreciate the help!

Great profile! If you plan to apply next year then I would recommend that you apply in R1 and visit the campuses of your top choices prior to applying, if possible. Also, be prepared to explain why you are no longer pursuing a career in law or how you plan to utilize your legal knowledge in your new career. Your work experience is limited so you should also be prepared to discuss what you learned professionally and how you have demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and innovation.
