Hi,
Just a quick question on the recommended / required length of a resume for MBA application purposes. Is it recommended to stick to one page?
I have worked on a number of transactions. The list and my roles within each is too long to include in my resume. If it is required that an MBA application resume should be one page, how would an appendix (a second page) look with more detail around each transaction and my role within it.
I appreciate your time and feedback.
Best,

Fahd,
Regarding
resumes for B-school applications, you should try to stick to one page if their instructions specifically state a one-page limit. If so, you could perhaps discuss a few of the more impactful, recent transactions in an optional essay. If the school does not explicitly state a one-page limit I think it's OK to give them that second page, but make sure the first page can function as a standalone resume. In other words, keep that second page more of a separate "addendum" as you mentioned. Also, I would not go into exhaustive detail about each transaction, primarily dollar, company/industry details, your role (in one sentence).
Hope this helps.
