Hi
BonesMBA,
Thank you for your post. Finding the right person who will listen to your narrative and understand your goals to guide your admissions process successfully takes time. Once you begin the search, you will start to identify patterns of differentiation between consultants. Learning about what works best for you will matter, especially as it relates to the end result. Therefore, I recommend you begin the search as early as possible.
When it comes to the timeline of signing up with a consultant, late February/early March is excellent if you are only looking for guidance on the application and its process. However, if there are areas in your profile that you would like a coach to assist you in improving, then perhaps an earlier start may be more beneficial.
Happy to have a conversation about our approach and how we can help you with your R1 applications. When you are ready, I recommend you take advantage of our
free consultation.
Good luck!
Susan

I’ll be applying next year during Round 1 and plan on hiring an admissions consultant. When should I start searching for a consultant nand when should I pull the trigger on hiring one?
iCurrently I was thinking about hiring one in February or early March 2020. Could anyone who’s had experience with this let me know if that’s enough time? Thanks.
