TOEFL iBT - how important?

I recently took the TOEFL iBT test as a part of my application process. I need a TOEFL test because my under grad degree was outside the United States. I also need the GMAT, which is scheduled this week end. One of my target schools(Zicklin/Baruch) needs a 102 on the TOEFL iBT and I scored a 101. Moreover, my listening score is very low in comparison to other scores.
My individual section scores are : 25,20,27,29 . Clearly, Listening score is low. I just cannot concentrate when there are tons of other people speaking. It's all so distracting. However, this is no excuse neither for me nor for admissions to consider me.I took the TOEFL last year, in march 2010, and scored a 100 with listening score of 21.
So, now should I retake the TOEFL iBT? The deadline is on Apr 15 for this school and TOEFL slots get filled up very quickly in my area. Or should I wait until I get my GMAT score, this week end.
Can a decent GMAT Verbal score compensate for a TOEFL score? I need to take all my tests on or before april 15. The schools don't care when the score reaches them though.
