When I was doing the GMATPrep tests, I made quite a lot of mistakes in SC. So I turn to some guide books either from the forum or from
the official guide books. Very Weirdly I don't make as many mistakes at all! For the test, it was like half of SC questions were wrong but for books, most 3 out of 15.
I have a bad habit of intensive reading though. I need my pencil but unfortunately reading on computer makes it hard. This often distracts me and makes perform more poorly on a computer based test than a traditional paper based test. Any solutions? I'm a fossiling guy that grew up in kinda mid 1990s and early 2000s so I'm more used to reading carefully those texts printed in paper.
Hi mcwoodhill,
Most of the questions can be solved if you are not facing a time pressure.
However in the CATs or the GMAT, you have to race against time and this puts additional pressure.
The best way to solve this problem is to time yourself even in the practice.
Regarding the reading, unfortunately you do not have a choice. You will have to practice and get accustomed to the format. Try to read as much as you can on the screen.
