Work Experience through third party payroll

Does it matter to business schools if I have worked in company A but am getting paid through a third party company B? I am still getting my experience letter and recommendations from company A, and have mentioned company A in my CV and applications. My day-to-day work is all linked with company A but I am on roll for my 2 positions (including promotion) through company B.

Will this matter in the application process or background verifications? Should I call this out or will that affect my application?

I don't think it will create such an impact. You will be okay as long as you have official proof. And if they end up asking you about your experience, you can always elaborate on your work experience.

Hello siddhant8,

It shouldn't matter as long as you have the official documentation pertaining to the same; so, if they do end up asking at a later point, you have something to show for it. At this point, we do not think any further clarification is needed at your end.

I'm in a similar situation so I can assure you it won't matter. Just keep your payslips, offer+employment letter and other documentation handy.
