Let the speed of Zen be Z and the speed of Noah be N.

According to the given data,

Number of pages read by Zen in 30 mins = 30Z

So, N = (60+30Z)/30 = 2+Z

Number of pages read by each on 50 mins:
Zen = 50Z
Noah = 50(2+Z) = 100 + 50Z

Therefore, Noah will be ahead of Zen by 100 + 50Z - 50Z = 100 Pages.

Zen takes 30 minutes to read X
Noah takes 30 minutes to read X+60

This means Noah reads 60 pages more than Zen in 30 minutes.

So in 50 minutes:

30 minutes = 60 additional pages
50 minutes = Y additional pages

Y = 60*50/30 = 100
