Hello abrakadabra09,

At this point you should focus on achieving as high a score as you can on the GMAT; in addition, you must focus on performing at your core work (see if you can garner some leadership experience + international exposure).

The list of schools can only be deliberated on once you have a score in hand.

Good luck!

Hello vangoghskindle,

Thanks for writing in.

To begin with, you need to be slightly more specific about your goals.

You have a decent chance at European schools ranked between top ~10 to top ~20 in Europe.

Good luck!

Hello wizardsatya,

Yes, you can!

Of course, the gap as well as need for MBA will need to be explained well; but, please do begin your preparation immediately!

Hello,
Hope you're doing well. Please find my profile below

Nationality - Indian, 28 Years
Education :
1. Bachelor's in Commerce
2. Diploma in IFRS from ACCA

Professional Qualification / Certification :
Chartered Accountant

GMAT Focus Score - 655

Work Experience - 5 Years (with total 2 promotions)
From Jan 2024 I'm working at the position of Manager. Working in one of the Big4 Audit firms.

Extracurricular -
Participated in Chess Competitions, Spell Bee and other various Olympaids. Achieved 1st Rank in School.
Participated in Various Plantation Drives.

Founder / Content Creator -
In April 2024 I started my own website towards topics around Mental Health (following my own problem with it). I'm running this website by myself, including generating and publishing articles on regular intervals. But so far there hasn't been much traffic on it.

Initially my goals have been colleges like Kellogg, NYU, MIT in the US, and LBS / Said Oxford in UK.
What appeals to me for Said Business school is mainly the Oxford Experience and Strong Community network of the University.
What other colleges can i try for in R2. I am planning to retake GMAT before R3 deadlines to push for a stronger score.

My main motivation is to get a good learning experience and exposure at a world class institution. I have demonstrated Good Problem Solving Capabilities in my Job and Have also recently received awards for my work in my company.

Happy to know your thoughts

Hello Nitish1103,

Thanks for writing in.

With your existing GMAT score, you are not, ideally, positioned to target the M7 programs and even with an improved score the top US programs will be tough in R3 (considering you belong to an overrepresented pool of applicants). You may, however, consider applying to Oxford with an improved score.

With your current GMAT score, you need to widen your list of schools to include a number of schools ranked between US top ~18 to US top ~35; of course, you will need to look at schools that sync well with your career goals. Narrowing down on the exact list requires a detailed profile evaluation. You may get in touch with us for the same.

Hope this helps.

All the best!
