For those awaiting the call - I must say that during my two previous decision days I was a mess. The only things that really helped were hard workouts and booze, particularly in that order.

Looking forward to seeing the forum light up with ADMITS!

Hi All,
Thanks so much for making GMAT Club the place for MBA-ers,
On Kellogg phone interviews, mine is scheduled for this Friday. Wondering wether I should send a thank you not to the general adcom email, or just leave it, I am also concerned I may not be able to clearly capture the spelling of my interviewer's name.

No need to send the adcom a thank you note for the interview invite. If you can get your interviewer's contact info feel free to send a short thank you.

My interview was waived and then I had a phone interview with an admission officer. Does the Check Application Status page show whether the phone interview report is added to my application? I didn't see anything about this on the page. Thank you.

Apparently the status doesn't change after an interview. I had a similar question earlier...

The message you see would say that the next update will be the decision....

Today is looking very quiet versus the same day on round 1... I guess Kellogg is going to keep us anxiously waiting a little longer!!

Calls for R1 didn't start until mid afternoon on that Monday. Get through lunch first.

Cheet would know!

It's also good to remind everyone that unlike other schools, Kellogg does not make all their calls in one day, right cheet?

Good luck everyone!!

Yep, mpg! Calls will likely be concentrated M-W, with a few additional calls trickling out til the decision date.

So I'm sure you will all be hitting F10 on your Application Status page until your little fingers fall off. Enjoy and good luck.

I'm going to be on a plane from 12pm CST to 3pm CST! Lol. But yeah, considering I'm lucky enough to get a call, I doubt I'll be on the first day. I'm such an anxious person that life always likes to make me wait a little longer! Haha

I'm spending the day interviewing undergrads for entry level positions at my firm. It's a pleasure being back on the other side of the table.

This is very helpful. Thank you! I have two other questions in case you or anyone else happen to know the answers.

1) Do rejects come in like the calls throughout the day or do most of those updates to the page happen overnight or in the morning?
2) Do people who get phone calls about admits have updates to their statuses on the website immediately?

Just trying to gauge how neurotically I should check the status page. :)

I love doing recruiting (although it gets tiring after interviewing the 12th or 13th person in the same day and everyone seems all blend together) LOL. the best is doing undergrad alum interviews... I had those interspersed between my MBA interviews and it definitely keeps you keep your perspective on things.

Anyone know if they start with any particular region? Do they do overseas calls first and then domestic last?

I'm in the Midwest and would prefer not to stress today if calls aren't expected for us until Wed.

If anyone knows based on past, that would be really appreciated.

Same discussion poped in thsi thread (pages 40+) during R1 and the answer was tricky, people wanted to guesss between alphabetical order, region etc. My guess is, it must be easier for them to start calling US queue, before considering us international students cause there is an additionnal work to check time zones

Thanks...I just clicked back and saw some of the discussion. I'm getting nervous so I am thinking I need to stop.

A lot of people found out they were dinged/waitlisted because they refreshed their application status right as it was being posted. The email to check their app status typically came hours later. There wasn't one particular time of day that these notifications went out.

The phone call for the admit usually comes before the status update. I got the call and my status updated about 24-36 hours later.

Congrats. Sounds like good news. I just got a call from a political survey group (Illinois's primary is tomorrow), which is far less exciting.
