Same discussion poped in thsi thread (pages 40+) during R1 and the answer was tricky, people wanted to guesss between alphabetical order, region etc. My guess is, it must be easier for them to start calling US queue, before considering us international students cause there is an additionnal work to check time zones

Thanks...I just clicked back and saw some of the discussion. I'm getting nervous so I am thinking I need to stop.

A lot of people found out they were dinged/waitlisted because they refreshed their application status right as it was being posted. The email to check their app status typically came hours later. There wasn't one particular time of day that these notifications went out. The phone call for the admit usually comes before the status update. I got the call and my status updated about 24-36 hours later.

just missed a call from Kellogg saying that they have news to share with me... calling them back but getting voicemail. looks like it's started. good luck everyone!
