Don't count on gmatclub count. Only a small fraction of MIT applicants even know that this forum exist. I guess that whoever doesn't get an invite in one hour can join me in dingland
Sure, but looking at round 1 on the first page, we see that 340 people applied and around 150 got interviews and 50 were admitted (or is it that 100 were interview and 50 were admitted, not 100% sure how to read it). Still, even accounting for the lower number applying for round 2, and a reduced Round 2 acceptance rate, 18 or 20 or even 30 interview invites is suspiciously low. The numbers are exactly in line with 2016 for Round 1, and the people applying to Round 2, but they had 50+ people invited to interview.
I guess we'll find out tomorrow, but to people invited to interview - are there still many time slots open to pick from?
