Hi Andysingh,
Thank you for your interest and query.
No worries!
You can surely hit at least 49 or above just like 90% of our students as long as you follow our study guide properly.
Since we are specialised in math only, we can give you advice on math.
From our course, you will learn our unique approaches and solving questions using the approaches: Variable approach of DS and IVY approach of PS. With our unique approaches, you can solve any questions that normally take 4 minutes in 1 minute and 30 seconds, and 2-minute question in 30 seconds. Moreover, you can solve 100% of DS questions with Variable approach and 30-40% of PS questions with IVY approach, which can boost your score.
Please try Trial Pack (4 hour lesson) that reveal our secret approaches of DS+PS core theory that you have never seen. You can test whether you like them or not before you enroll. Based on your score, you can surely improve your score within 3 months. However, since you need to work on verbal, it is okay to take an exam in January as you plan.
Also, your issue would be PS and your basic math skills would be shaky. You make unnecessary mistakes in basic-to-middle level questions and you cannot move up to advanced level questions in CAT's.
Many students at this level of score seem to solve the questions with eyes, meaning that you easily understand what is
taught when you learn but you don't actually practice to solve them by writing the entire calculation process. If you encounter similar questions, you tend not to solve them.
Please always remember the principle of "Slow, Hand, Detail"
* Solve "slowly" when you study and practice.
* Solve questions by "hand" for sure. Understanding from videos is very different from what you can actually solve. So, practice by solving again in handwriting is very important after you learn from the videos.
* When you solve them, write "detailed" calculation process without skipping any steps. This is also important.
If you didn't follow above, you think you know well, but you cannot solve the questions properly.
If you are not strong on basic math skills, your PS won’t be good. If your PS isn't good, you will have a hard time in establishing equations in DS. So, your DS would not be good.
How to score Q49-51 from your score level* Enroll in All-In-One 51 for 1-3 months.
* "Slow, Hand, Detail" mentioned above. This is a very important principle and habit that you have to keep in mind at all times.
