Hi everyone!
Today i did a full practice GMAT test from Veritas and i scored 510. I would like to ask:
1) Should i trust this result from Veritas prep or it could be much lower on the official practice test? (I just want to save 2 free test for later)
2) I have my GMAT in exactly 3 months from today and i need to score at least 590-600... Is it possible to accomplish within 3 months?

P. S. I was doing some questions before this Veritas test for a certain amount of time and i was reading some basics but that preparation wasn't consistent at all. I still have to improve my math and grammar basics. I'm planning on learning basics from Manhattan prep quant and verb (i did only one of them - "fractions, decimals and percents" a few month ago to remember smth from school). Will it be helpful for my goal?
Thank you all in advance!

Hi Kate,

Do not take the mock score too seriously. It's just to analyze your current level. You can go through the articles below to understand the right way to prepare for GMAT.

How to start your GMAT Preparation?

How to effectively plan your studies for GMAT?

The 3 key skills you need to develop to score well on GMAT

I would suggest you to choose a resource which can help you with:

  • Concepts
  • Methodology (Most important)
  • Standard questions
  • Their detailed solutions
  • Study plan

The best thing to do would be to check out the free trials of the online courses out there and choose the one which suits you the most. But make sure you choose the one which can help you with the above factors. You can check out the below article to know more about the factors to consider while evaluating an online course.

And I would suggest you to check out the free trial of GMATWhiz before taking a decision. I congratulate you for your very realistic target of progressing from 510 to 600 in a very reasonable timeframe of 3 months. This shows that you have a lot of maturity and are grounded.

Thank you so much for your answer!
Do you mean i should use OG for verbal to solve problems from it only and not from other unofficial sources? Or i should learn some theory from OG only too? I just started RC Manhattan and it seems to be useful for understanding the logic of the solving process (like how to read a passage, etc)...
