If my goal score is 730, how much should I get in the practice tests? Depends on the provider? Or should I aim for a 750, so I get confortable on the day test for a 730.

750 sounds good, especially if it's on one or more of the GMATPrep tests. That said, keep in mind that what you're actually looking to do is get in the school of your choice. The GMAT is just one of the things that you need to work on.
