How Pearson Vue screwed up my GMAT retake

So I'm a foreign student studying in Australia. On my first try I used my driver licence (which i didn't know its not valid), they accepted my id and i did my exam. This led me to believe that driver licence is an acceptable form of id for the test. However, i did not receive the score that I wanted and so I tried again, only this time they told me that it actually wouldn't work and wouldn't allow me to take the exam. Later I emailed them, told them exactly what happened, that I received misleading info from the test center, and I wanted a refund or at least a reschedule, and they just tell me that it was all my fault and refused to give me back my money or any other assistance.
