It'll come down to what you are looking for from your tests. The GMATPrep tests are likely to generate more reliable score estimates and are the only tests that use actual GMAT questions. Disadvantages include the cost/number bit and the lack of (automated) analysis. What do you think is more important for you at this stage?

Hi all, can anyone share an update on this ??

I did the test1 today from the download (desktop version ) of the software which is not updated. - need to know if the online version has diff questions - if yes then can attempt two more papers.

P.S. I have my exam next week. Would be great if anyone can provide inputs at the earliest.

It's just the online version of the same test. The GMAC has not replaced the question pool for the free tests.

I had the same question but I read posts in older threads and it seems like the official CATs never provided answer explanations. You could just search for the questions here, in GMATClub, for solutions and explanations.

The online version will let you practice with the latest format. The offline tests won't.

There's a chance that the online platform is not very stable, but that really depends on just how widespread the reported problems are. Maybe the number of people facing such problems at this point is very small.

i see the score report analysis under new Official Practice Exams are not as intensive as older Exam Pack 1 and 2. If i'm not missing anything, the new report analysis lacks score report of sub category i.e. score & percentile information on SC / CR / RC / DS / PS seperately. Those were very important insights for evaluating strength and weakness that i'm badly missing in new Practice Exams.

Will anybody please confirm whether new exams are really missing sub category score & percentile? bb carcass AjiteshArun
