Let n be the largest integer that is the product of exactly 3 distinct [#permalink]
Consider the primes less than 10: 2, 3, 5, 7
The question asks for the largest integer that is the product of d, e, and 10d+e so we'll start by making d=7

We can have 72, 73, 75, of which, 73 is the only prime and thus will maximize the product we're trying to find
7*3*73 = 21*73 = 1533 and the sum of its digits is 1+5+3+3 = 12
