Did they mention something specifically in the acceptance email?

Booth and Tuck both explicitly stated the scholarship, and amount over the phone, but LBS communicated the acceptance via email, so I figured that was why there was no mention of anything.


Yes. The email did mention the scholarship in red and stated the exact amount too.

I take it that no one else had this mentioned in their email?. I am so excited to see you all soon! :-D

Would be interested in what they meant by that too. I am guessing it's after the deposit deadline so there will be potential reshuffling of scholarships?

Didn't offer too much detail really. She said there would be another round of scholarships determined in June. Many schools offer merit scholarships upon admission and then fellowships at a later date, so perhaps that's what they meant? Sorry I don't have more details.

I received an email stating that my decision will be delayed until next week. So more waiting until at least Tuesday. Has anyone else received such email this year? I did find a few similar cases in prior years.

It could just be that your interviewer could not submit their evaluation in time.

We exchanged a few emails afterwards, and he mentioned that he sent his feedback the day ofter the interview. Last year there were cases that were just reviewed late, due to the volume of applications. I also had my interview very early, only a few days after the interview decisions were announced, so I wonder if it's FILO-type process.

hey there - I had my interview early in March. I did not receive any Email about the admissions decision yet. Does that mean that I got rejected? Is it possible that they make their decision ofter the deadline?? don't know what to think about this... anyone experiencing the same thing??

I am in a similar situation. They shared that my decision will be delayed. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me, considering that 1. we all paid the same application fee to fund the admission process, but receive varying level of service and 2. the admissions all went on vacation in late February/early March, and are now not able to meet the timing that they promissed.

Yes, don't really know... I did not even get a notice that the decision will be delayed... not really professional if you ask me... :(

In, but no scholarship offer here. I really liked London, but it is the only school that has offered me zero dollars... Hate to make a decision based on price tag alone, but LBS is making it tough on me!

You have an amazing string of admits with $$. Where are you going to go?

I would never be able to turn down scholarships at some of the schools you have to choose from
