Read Manhattan GMAT quant

If your basics are very weak then go with Manhattan math foundation and after that Manhattan all the quant

Most important OGs

Hi. Yes. 3 month access.

All packages are 3 month access as a matter of fact.

Hi and welcome to GMAT Club. It seems almost everyone agrees that the safest option would be to use the old format. It is going to be available and accepted. However, the risk for someone taking the test in Jan is small that you will have issues with new format or it wont’ be accepted (only Wharton and HBS said they will accept new format for the intake 2025 year and not 2024 but some schools may follow). You have a choice at this point. You can decide which test will give you the higher score - Sentence Correct one or Data Insights one. If one gives you a higher score/more success, use that one. As to books - Amazon can and many other bookstores can provide you with the books. Please do not distribute or ask for illegal PDF materials as we do not allow that on GMAT Club. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding

As 27 is a bit on the lower side, I would recommend getting MGMAT math foundations book. It is a good starting point that will help you refresh stuff like division, fractions and all other topics which likely have been forgotten since college. Then you can jump into mainstream prep resources such as MGMAT books or a course, etc. but it’s important to get all of your foundations and topics refreshed.

Thank you for your suggestions! I am taking the test in September. What scores would be possible to achieve? My target is 600.

In your experience

Is 600 achievable less than 3 months? I have weak basics. like quant is only 27.

What about the verbal?

I can say that overall, look at your current score and see how rusty you are. Obviously if you’re very rusty, you can improve fast by just refreshing and addressing silly mistakes. However, in general besides quick easy gains people can usually expect to improve by about 100 points in two months of rigorous studying. And then it slows down… this is a very very rough average imprecise number

Looks like you need to work on your verbal. Unfortunately Verbal takes the longest to improve…

And if you have a low verbal score, I would identify your weaknesses and strengths. Most people struggle with reading. Since you only have two months, and your quant pretty high already at 47, put all your energy into verbal. I would recommend Manhattan Verbal foundations book, you can use the GMAT Club’s grammar book, it is a completely free PDF. And you may consider getting a course after you cover one of these two books. If you have a very low verbal score, it does not make sense to jump into a course right away. You want to get your basics up as well. Just like with Quant. Most GMAT courses assume you have a certain level of proficiency with basics. I would also recommend reading fiction books you can search for my post called GMAT fiction and pour yourself into reading books and try to read at least 1000 pages in the next month.

Hi Everyone, I have a query regarding the scoring of Focus Edition. Like, if in current version we have scored 770 it means 775 as per the focus one and if it is 730 in the classic one means 735 as per the new one. Can someone pls validate my point?

A score of 730 is 96th percentile in current version of GMAT. In GMAT Focus edition a score of 675 is at 96th percentile. So, the scores don’t translate just by adding 5 points. You can refer to this link to get more details on the scores in the Focus Ed. https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat-focus-ed ... your-score

gmatophobia beat me to it, but GMAC posted their conversion table - it is not like the gmat scores we are used to
