Sure and sorry. I know it is super unfriendly for new folks (we get this question once a month). It is something you will memorize pretty quickly. Sufficien, not sufficient, both needed, either one is sufficient, or neither.

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell more about the new GMAT 2023 edition?

Like do we get a choice to opt for the new or the old version? Or is complusory to take the new version of the GMAT?

The MBA website has some official info you can check out. There will be a period when both versions will be available for students to choose from.

A small fyi, if you're thinking of applying to the full-time MBA program at HBS, they've mentioned the Focus Edition will not be accepted in R1 or R2.

Re: New to GMAT Club - Post Your Questions Here [#permalink]
Hi
I will be giving my GMAT in september this year-which will be essentially the current structure and not the new exam pattern (focus). We have the OG (focus edition) available, Any Idea if we will have the OG for current edition (2023) or have to rely on 2022 guides?
Thanks!

Hi. The OG 2023 is a copy of 2022 edition (which is a copy of 2021 edition which is a copy of 2020 edition) with the only difference of having SC and Geometry ripped out of it…. So if you are planning to take the GMAT that has SC in it, you probably want to have the book that has that information in it. There will be no additional official guides published… there’s really no point because no new questions were released this year…

So you can grab an official guide from the last 10 years and it will work just fine.

PS. And welcome to GMAT Club šŸ‘

Hello, I have a question
As there are different phases in MBA application. So is there any ratio in which college divides the number of candidates to be selected in each round?

On what basis do they decide intake in each phase?
