I'm an international applicant too, applied in R2. Had my interview on 23rd Jan. It was with Kate Piasecki, Associate Director Admissions.
It was through Windows Live Meeting... The interview started at scheduled time and started well, when suddenly i couldn't see the video of admissions director... i told this to her, but as she was able to see mine so we continued.. In short, I gave whole interview watching a blank screen
Overall it was a casual conversation. Questions asked in given order were:-
1) How you decided to pursue your under-graduation in Electronics and Communication?
2) Favorite course in Engineering?
3) How you got your first job?
4) Reason for change to 2nd job?
5) for 3rd job?
6) Why from perm to contract (in Singapore -- overseas)?
7) Are you a risk taker? Will you join any firm in any country?
8) Why 4th job?
9) What is your role here? What projects you are working on recently?
10) Challenges leading a global team?
11) Why MBA?
12) Why Emory?
13) Where you would like to do internship?
14) Considering the US scene right now, what if you don't get the job/internship here?
15) two more questions (not able to recall )
In the end asked if you have any question to ask. I had one and asked that.
After the interview only one suggestion:Please be thorough with ur profile.
justify each action you have mentioned in your resume. Just cover the why, how and what aspect for each point in your resume. So, look at all your achievements, certificates, ur job changes and give good justification for all.
