We need more questions on Integrated reasoning section. This is something new for everyone and I don't see enough questions in the market. Does anyone have a good (say 200 questions) on Integrated reasoning section.

Hey guys,

I know that IR is new on GMAT, and so it does not have as much importance as the AWA. Nevertheless, but does anyone have an idea of a minimum required on the IR section (like 4/6 on the AWA) ? I do not want to waste all my gmat because of an uncompliant IR. Bye bye ;)

Hi all, this question can be found in the "Gmat pill" practice content.
https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... stion/1126

I , need the explanation of the answer to this question. Thanks in advance :)

Question: )-->
An intercollegiate basketball tournament is hosting playoffs with 320 players. Each team has 5 players and each team plays exactly one other team and either wins or loses. The winning team advances to the next round and the losing team is eliminated. No team or player drops out except by losing a game.

From the available options, select a number of tournament rounds and a number of teams such that after the specified number of rounds there will be a specified number of teams remaining in the tournament. Make only two selections, one in each column.

320 players / 5 players per team = 64 teams. To find out how many teams are left after each round, divide the number of remaining teams by 2.

i.e. Round 1: 64 /2 = 32 teams
Round 2: 32 / 2 = 16
Round 3: 16 / 2 = 8
Round 4: 8 / 2 = 4
Round 5: 4 /2 = 2

You can stop here since you 5 & 2 are listed as possible answers. Kudo if this helps :)

Hi,

I would suggest go for both. The following resources will help you:

1. The 50 IR questions by GMAC.
2. Manhattan has 35 questions that they sell for $5.
3. The recent 12 full-length tests by Princeton are IR enabled.

Regards,

Shouvik.

Do you perhaps know whether Manhattan Online Question Bank IR has explenationas or just questions?

Great NEW initiative from e-GMAT!

e-GMAT has recently launched a full-fledged course on Integrated Reasoning. e-GMAT will be regularly posting questions and articles related to IR. As of now, they have already posted one question each from the four sub-sections of IR (Graphical Interpretation, Table Analysis, Two-part and MSR) and one article on weighted average, which is useful in TA and GI questions.

Which particular section in IR is the easiest to score, if you had to rate each section based on difficulty. how would you rate it?

Thanks for the link so it seems that you should do MSR,GI,Table Analysis and can afford to skip on the two part analysis.
