What minimum sources are recommended to score at least 6 on the IR??? a quick reply is highly solicited!!!
I'm sorry to convey this, but I don't know if that answer is known by anyone outside of GMAC. You see, they have told us eight of the 12 questions will be graded, and the scaled score goes up to 8, and the raw score (number of questions correct) will be curved to this scale, but they don't tell us anything about the curving procedure. Really, anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's, as far as I can tell. For example, it's not necessarily clear to me that they would even use the same scale every time --- in fact, knowing them, I think they would just gauge the difficulty of the individual questions, and base the scale on that ---- thus, folks who see different questions would be on a different scale. Thus, your question would have no meaningful answer outside of context.
I am going to ask you and
bagdbmba a quasi-Zen question:
why does it matter? Forget about the score & the scale altogether, and just figure out how to do your best on these questions. Any focus on how to understand the questions better brings you closer to your goal. Any focus on how the test is scored doesn't contribute bupkis to your overall preparation --- in fact, if anything, it's probably a harmful distractor.
Does all this make sense?
