This wait is killing me....... Any idea whether a ding is notified immediately or only on the decision date??

Hey I know how it feels. I'm in the same boat as you, from India and have high hopes for Tepper... Well lets say had high hopes. Lets see whether things still go through or not. Good luck !!

Just had a phone interview today with James Frick from the admissions committee. He was great to speak to and was very conversational. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I got the interview invite on February 7th, but could not travel to Pittsburgh to do an on campus interview. The first available phone interview was today.

It's pretty interesting that they are still conducting interviews this late in the game. Does anyone out there know the last day available to interview? I'm surprised they are still interviewing candidates for R2 with only 18 days left until the deadline.

I think the last day of R2 interview falls on Mar.4.(telephone/skype)

I'm not going to give up just yet. Let's assume that I was rejected without an interview. What steps should I take to make this application better? I'll admit that I was surprised that I didn't get an interview invite since I had been keeping up with students, visited the school, brought my case to them, kept in close contact with alumni and everything.

does anyone know if Tepper does a wait list? it seems like most people on here are either accepted or dinged.

wow thanks. looks like they typically get around 10 percent of their class from the wait-list.

They do. I know of at least two people from last year who were waitlisted in R1 and R2 and were admitted later. Of course, one wouldn't expect the scholarships since most are over by the time of admission.

I also read an article that stated that Tepper does a waitlist, and about 16% off the WL are admitted.

So anxious! Does anyone whether they do all decisions on the 18th? I interview last Monday and have been anxiously waiting though it seems they might just release all decisions, good or bad, on the same day.
