I didn't ask about scholarships...did they just bring it up or did you ask? I'm happy to go either way, but it would be nice to get some money to alleviate the student loan situation!

I asked about scholarships. I was told that if nothing is mentioned by the caller, you are not awarded any .
Either way, I am still stoked to get into Kellogg.

Bummer. Would've been nice!

They brought it up and it was a total surprise, its fairly significant so my parents are stoked. its a merit based one vs need based though, so I'm guessing they might get into the need based ones later?

I was also told that more scholarships/fellowships would be awarded closer to the deposit deadline.

Missed the call around 12pm CST, she did not reveal anything but her geographical location, 847, how nice. Called back around 4pm CST, accepted.

No email, no online status change. Just the call.

congrats to all Round 2 admits!

April 19-20th I believe (I was excited and didn't write anything legible down), with meet and greet events in various cities prior to that (April 10 in NY I think?)

ACCEPTED!!!!! Received the call about an hour ago! No update definitely means you're in!!!!

This is the sweetest ending EVER to my GMAT story and proof that people with stratospheric GMATs aren't the only ones that get in! I had a 680 GMAT and got the call. So... if you have a "lower" GMAT, don't knock yourselves down, instead focus that energy on enhancing your application and have faith in yourselves!!!!

You're right — It's 19th and 20th, although there's a welcome reception the night of the 18th (according to a current student who is working Day at Kellogg).

I'll be there. Will be excited to meet some of you!

Good thing! I probably better qualify for a need based than a merit based, anyway.

Oh, and forgot to mention that the admissions director said that they're sending out packets in the mail tomorrow with official details and that we should get the officail acceptance e-mail tonight.

This is my first admit. When I told my boyfriend he said he'd be buying "champagne and lighter fluid". Champagne to celebrate. Lighter fluid for my GMAT books. :D

You're definitely in! Don't sweat it - there's a 100% correlation between those with no update and getting an acceptance call. They double, triple, and quadruple check these things, YOU'RE IN!

See you in Evanston! :)

Ditto. If you were dinged, then you would have gotten some form of notifications already, email/web updates, etc. Get your champagne ready.
