I think you might be right on this one. Our stats are pretty similar and I was offered a full merit scholarship at Stern (not the Consortium Fellowship). I also ranked Stern #3. I didn't visit the school, but I don't live near NYC. I did demonstrate that I put in the effort to talk with several alumni who are now at my firm.

so if we log into our consortium app and it doesnt say anything at allllllllllll... other than 'consortium app is closed' does that mean we didnt get membership? lol

On Stern - I had my Columbia interview a few weeks before and was dinged after it. When I posted on Columbia's forum, people asked whether I had really truly made the case for not only why NYC but why Columbia over any competitors and why Columbia is the absolute best program for me. I hadn't. So, when I went into my Stern interview, I made sure to do extra homework and be incredibly enthusiastic AND specific about Stern's strengths and subtleties.

In at Duke, Yale, Emory, and UNC. Got partial scholarships to Yale and Duke, and the consortium fellowship at UNC. Looks like UNC it is.

I'm going to UNC too. ^5

McCombs sent me a Waitlist email today saying they weren't reviewing my app again until end of April. So I'm taking my Consortium Fellowship and running to Chapel Hill fast. Lol.

Anyone have creative ideas on how to tell the other schools Adcom Officers that you were admitted to and that you have good rapport with that thanks for the offer but no thanks?

It would be interesting to see if we can figure out who was on here... maybe we should put our GMAT Club names on our name badges :p
