Yes, but I think most of the R3 denials were international students, since it's hard for them to get a visa in 2 months.. The other thing is the yield from R1/R2 - a strong yield results in less open spots and lesser need for a large waitlist pool.

I am a very optimistic person, so getting myself on the S9 apartment WL was a no brainer, after all.

I'd be fine with a Ding, I just want an official answer. It's just hard to officially move on with plans when you still have a "maybe" out there.


Nooo highwyre, you should not be fine with a ding. You waited this long, might as well wait for few more weeks, haha. I have a strong feeling that there will be a major movement on Friday and GCers will be celebrating all weekend.

Yes, the decisions will be out on Friday. Hopefully a trip to "6th street" this Friday night to celebrate.

Will admissions be sending out decisions on Friday to everyone on the waitlist or will some applicants not hear anything?

I think outcomes are: 1) decision a) admitted (yay!) or b) dinged OR 2) no decision - remaining on the waitlist (aka purgatory)

Any day starting early late May to 1st August. Summer waitlist is usually used to replace people who pay deposit, but decide to go somewhere else. It's usually pretty hard to get off, I heard.

Nothing yet! R3/hopefully us, should hear something today or tomorrow. Last round they called people and updated statuses 1 business day early (on a Friday instead of waiting for the Monday) so we may hear today? I would assume tomorrow is the day, but keep your phone close today just incase.

My phone is low on battery this morning, and I am scared of even touching it because it might further drain the battery.

Keeping my fingers crossed for results to be out early like in R2 decision , just officially started my refreshing-email routine :o :o ...

For internationals, deadline to send transcripts is may 15th. hopefully there will be enough time for visa paperwork to attend the Language Institute in early July. The school says they will work to get those admitted in time for the start of program, but still freaks me alittle...
