Even though I'm just a fly on the wall here, wanted to say good luck guys! Obviously since I have no motivation to do any actual work at work I spend too much time on GMAT club. Been following this thread and really hoping to see some positive outcomes! Sending out major positive vibes!

That guy was WL w/o interview and then invited to interview in R3, so I am guessing that's why they took his decision offline - maybe they did it for people who will get a admit/denial. I can't think of any other reasons....

Went through last year's forum as well. Seems like only the people who interviewed in R3 or were rejected on R3 notification day had their WL letters taken off. I am still hoping that they won't take off admits letters until later in the day. lol

So far there are couple admits on GC and one on BTG - seems like none of the WLed candidates has been called yet.

I'll be honest, I may have liked CMU the best out of every place I interviewed. However, Pittsburgh was my least favourite place out of where I interviewed. We'll be heading to NC. We found a place between Duke and UNC, so I am still holding out hope. (Besides, Durham is worlds less expensive than Chapel Hill.) Besides, I'm very interested in Quintiles, and with them in the area, and taking a bunch of Fugua/K-F folks, I might as well be in that location.

Hope there's at least some movement today. Pretty darn antsy.

I hear ya. But I'd MUCH rather be living in Chapel Hill. Super nice town, Durham is pretty iffy in places. But hey, since you'll officially be down there, a summer WL isnt the end of the world for you. If anything, since you'll be local at the time (and make sure they know it) you'll have a better chance of being accepted at the last minute.

Good luck today, but if it doesnt work out you still have plenty of time left.

Yeah, the part of "Durham" I'm in is Durham in post code only. Time Warner and Duke Energy both call it Chapel Hill. More or less nestled in between Chapel Hill and Cary but still in Durham County proper. You go the one minute into Chapel Hill and prices go up 30%-40%. I was worried about "Durham", as well, but I have friends and family in the area that could scout out the area for me previously.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know how to play the "I'm going to be living in Durham regardless" card. Hopefully that's seen as a positive instead of a "maybe he'll just apply next year"...even though I have a good offer from K-F. Who knows?
