For what it's worth, many people that joined the facebook group joined on wednesday (pre-decision) and only one was from this morning. I don't think it's a data point worth considering right now.

Part of me feels like I'm just torturing myself by asking this question, but: Does anyone have any idea how many applicants Fuqua keeps on the summer WL? I'm not sure if this number is closer to 30 or 300

I think it will be closer to 30 than 300, but at this point, we will only get in, if someone decides to go somewhere else. There is a deposit deadline coming up, but usually the yield in R3 is pretty high.

Yeah, deposit deadline will be another time for them to maybe pull. 15-May for International and 21-May for Domestic. Should be a spot or two opening up, but I'm not expecting much. Also, sounds like they called folks on Monday after decision day last year, so there's always Monday the 13th I suppose. I'd assume along with hailmary that R3 yield would be super high.

where are you guys seeing that WLers got call on the monday after R3 last year. There was nothing about it on the WL thread, and only one guy who posted he was in off the WL. Just because he posted it on the Monday after doesnt mean it happened then... I didn't see any further discussion on the matter at all... I'm assuming Monday isn't a possibility unless I'm missing something.

I just came back from a meeting so had to catch up on a bunch of posts - I didn't quite get clarification on the "friends" that got in off the waitlist. Was there actual movement or was that speculation? Thanks!

Someone posted that he got a text from a friend who said that two of her friends got in. My personal opinion is that they had a very high yield and just don't have any spots. There is a guy on Kellogg forum who is still deciding b/w duke and kellogg, so lets hope he picks K and open up one spot - he has paid deposit at D thou. Posted from my mobile device
